We had a great experience with Ellis Moving. We had multiple steps to our move because of renovations and had to change dates multiple times. They accommodated every one including a move on Christmas Eve day. Their staff were pleasant and worked quickly. There was minor damage incurred (not unexpected given the size of our move) and Ellis remedied the situation above and beyond what the contract amount was. I would recommend using Ellis and would use them again myself.

January 2025 I engaged Ellis Moving & Storage for a second time. Just as before, their crew of Everson, Bernard, and AJ did a perfect job of moving my things from Penticton to White Rock. The crew arrived early in the morning, loaded within the hour, and delivered the next day. All three worked steadily--no standing around staring at their phones. I don't know what these guys eat for breakfast, but it must contain dynamite as they work fast but carefully. I tipped them and asked where they'd like to drive next (for my next move). They said, "Mexico", but I'm not so sure about that. I left Penticton because of the heat. Great job guys, plus a thank you to office staff Donna, Shawn, and James for making my move stress free.

The moving truck arrives on time on moving day with friendly and very professional movers. With all the headaches implied while moving you can count on these guys to take care 100% of their part. We have moved from North Vancouver to West Kelowna in December and hired Ellis Moving & Storage. We would recommend this company to everyone who is looking to move with the least amount of stress you can have during a move.Right from the first interaction until the smiling waving lead hand Everson Blucher leaving our new home.Moving out day went very smoothly all that was needed from us was to show Everson through the house to show him his accesses. He then asked us what our favourite chairs were to sit in and said please relax we have got it from here. Amazingly, 6 hours later they were loaded and done. Even with moving the truck to the alley to load my business tools and then moving back to the front of the house to accommodate us to be able to in our favourite chairs until the very last 2 items to be loaded. He said now when we see you tomorrow the first things we move into your new home will be your favourite chairs to sit in. Awesome!We then went through the house and noticed some damage to the hardwood floor that had happened during the day. He immediately had pictures of it sent to the head of the company and within 24 hours they had it repaired without any issues. THAT’S SERVICE you can count on, a very professional response to what would have been so stressful to no worries at all in one phone call.I knew this company from being a condominium manager for years and out of all the moving companies that came through the condos I looked after Ellis Moving & Storage was always very professional and easy to deal with. Very timely with the window of time allotted for the elevator to accommodate the move in or out.We are very happy to highly recommend Ellis to anyone who is moving locally or a distance move. A few days before the big move we were in the precarious situation of having to rebook a new moving company with short notice. (***DO NOT BOOK WITH PEGASUS VAN LINES***) James gave us an in-depth quote for the move and was able to fit our items into their busy schedule. On moving day, the moving team was amazing and super organised. Our shipment arrived early which suited our timelines better and the move in team were in and out of our new place in record time. All our items were top shape post the move as well. Highly recommend moving across country with Ellis Moving & Storage, (who are CAM accredited) and would move with them again. Note to anyone looking to skimp on moving costs and do things cheaply - you get what you pay for. While Ellis were higher priced, they were definitely worth it!
